01Design

Proportion is the first spec.

The cabin sits well behind the front axle, the hood runs long and the tail is cut short. The engine lives behind the front wheels, so most of the mass sits between the axles. It is the oldest recipe in the roadster book, and we kept it on purpose: the car turns around you, not in front of you.

02Performance

Fast is easy. Feel is the hard part.

Peak numbers matter less than what happens in the first tenth of throttle travel, the first few degrees of steering and the first bite of the brake pedal. That is where most of the development hours went.

Power 510hp at 6,800 rpm
Torque 435lb-ft from 2,400 to 5,600 rpm
0–60 mph 3.4s eight-speed DCT, launch control
Top speed 186mph electronically limited

Preliminary engineering targets for pre-production vehicles, measured under controlled conditions. Final figures will be published before you are asked to commit to a purchase.

Inline-six, mounted low

A 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six sits entirely behind the front axle line, with a dry sump so it can sit lower in the chassis.

A real gearbox

A six-speed manual with a short, mechanical shift and a clutch you can modulate. An eight-speed dual-clutch is available if you'd rather.

Carbon where it counts

A bonded carbon-fiber tub with aluminum subframes and double wishbones at every corner. Stiff enough that the suspension can do its job.

Brakes you can lean on

Steel brakes on Touring, carbon-ceramics on Sport and Launch Edition. Both are sized for repeated track laps, not just one stop.

03Open air

Roof down in nine seconds.

The fabric top opens or closes at up to 30 mph, so a passing shower is a non-event. Everything else in the cabin is built around driving with the sky above you.

A fabric top, on purpose

It's lighter than a folding hardtop, keeps the center of gravity low and stows under a flush tonneau without taking any trunk space.

9 sOpen or close at up to 30 mph

Wind, managed

A glass deflector between the roll hoops keeps conversation possible at highway speed without making the cabin feel closed in.

Switches you can find blind

Climate, hazards, drive modes and the roof all have physical controls. The screen handles navigation and media, and that's it.

Room for a weekend

7.4 cu ft of trunk space: two carry-on bags and a couple of jackets, with the roof up or down.

Fixed roll hoops

Two steel hoops sit behind the seats, bolted straight to the carbon tub. They're always there, not deployed by a sensor.

Aids you can switch off

Three-stage stability control (On, Sport, Off) and a launch mode you never have to use.

08FAQ

Questions, answered.

Something else? Write to [email protected] and a real person will reply.

Do I have to pay anything to reserve?

No. A reservation request is free, and this website never asks for payment or card details. If anyone contacts you claiming to represent us and asks for money to "secure" a slot, don't pay. Forward the message to [email protected].

Is a reservation a commitment to buy?

No. It holds your place in line, nothing more. You commit only if and when you sign a separate purchase agreement, after you've seen final pricing and specifications. Details are in the Reservation Terms.

When will final pricing be confirmed?

We plan to publish final pricing when the configurator opens to reservation holders, currently targeted for Q2 2027. The prices shown on this site are estimates.

How are build slots allocated?

In the order requests are received, one per person. When your turn comes, you'll get an email invitation to configure your car. If you pass, your slot moves to the next person in line.

Where will Series One be sold?

Initially in the 50 US states and the District of Columbia. Vehicle sales are subject to each state's laws and may be completed through licensed dealers where required.

Can I cancel or change my request?

Yes, any time. Use the link in your confirmation email or write to [email protected]. There's no fee, and nothing to refund, because nothing was charged.

What happens to my personal information?

We use it to manage your reservation and, only if you opt in, to send program updates. We don't sell it. You can ask to see, correct or delete it at any time on the Your Privacy Choices page.
